Full Moon of the Money Year 4714
The
monkey plotted
to steal
from the deep dark well
the
bright lantern moon
but on
grasping it saw it
shatter
in ripples of light.

El mono tramaba
robarse de la noria honda y oscura
la brillante luna linterna
pero al cogerla la vio
romperse en oleaditas de luz.
