Luna LLena en el Festival de Jazz
La luna estirada tirante
como tambor redondo
cuelga del cielo
como bendición.
El bailar es medicina
y ella sabe que vengo
para el sanar,
a sacudir fuera las arrugas
del corazón

Full Moon at Jazz Fest
The moon, stretched tight
as a hoop-drum.
hangs in the sky
like a blessing.
The dancing is medicine
& she knows I am come
for the healing,
to shake out the wrinkles
from the heart.
