Reflejo de la luna

 

 

El reflejo de la luna

se quiebra en las aguas

que jala. El mundo 

también está roto

y el mundo roto 

daña a la Tierra.

Hay sequía y tormenta,

inundación e incendio;

los ríos se desbordan

o se secan.

Que la luz del sol

suavizada por la luna

abra el corazón 

para que remendemos

al mundo.

Reflection of the Moon

 

 

The reflection of the moon

breaks on the waters

she pulls. The world, 

too, is broken 

& the broken world

harms the Earth.

There is drought & storm,

flood & wildfire;

rivers overflow 

or run dry.

Let the sun’s light 

softened by the moon

open the heart 

so that we may mend 

the world.
