Aries -Vernal Equinox

  

Llega la primavera, temporada de esperanza cuando los días crecen en luz y las flores brotan. Pero el mundo está oscuro con el fascismo, guerra, violencia, injusticia, cambio climático, sufrimiento y tenemos que despertar y actuar por la Tierra, la justicia, la paz. Que encontremos nuestro camino a un mundo más amoroso. Reunámonos con nuestra alegría en reunion cerca de nosotros el sábado 5 de abril y clamemos contra las fuerzas oscuras y por la fuerza de la vida.

Spring comes, the season of hope as the days grow brighter and the flowers bloom. Yet the world is dark with fascism, war, violence, injustice, climate change, suffering and we must awake and act for the Earth, for justice, for peace. May we find our way to a more loving world. Let us come together with our joy at a gathering near us Saturday, April 5th and speak out against the dark forces and for the life-force.

                        Aries

Al morueco de los comienzos
lo impulsa la estrella roja
que relumbra en sus ojos de diamante
y se refleja en sus cuernos de heliotropo,
sus pesuñas de hierro.
        Guarda el fuego cardinal del anhelo
        y sobre su cabeza

                giran el día y la noche

                        la noche y el día

                en el baile simétrico

                        del tiempo.

The ram of beginnings
is driven by the red star
which shines in its diamond eyes,
reflects in its bloodstone horns,
its iron hoofs. 
     It guards the cardinal fire
     of ambition
     and above its head
            turn day and night 
            night and day 
    in the symmetrical dance 
                  of time.
