full moon: Full Moon Over the Lamb

-

Luna llena sobre el cordero

Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi
miserere nobis.

La luna se eleva como hostia
en los cielos empañados
por el humo de los bosques
en llamas, reflejada
en las aguas que inundan
las ciudades.
Cordero de Dios,
decimos, que quitas
los pecados del mundo
ten piedad de nosotros.
Muere el cordero sacrificado
pero no puede quitarle
los pecados al mundo;
ni la Tierra es capaz de ello.
Y ¿qué piedad pudiera
tener la Tierra?
Como hostia se eleva la luna
bendición su belleza.

Full Moon Over the Lamb

Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi
miserere nobis.

The moon rises like a host
in skies tarnished
by the smoke of the forests
in flames, reflected
in the waters flooding
the cities.
Lamb of God,
we say, who takes away
the sins of the world,
have mercy on us.
The lamb dies sacrificed
but it cannot take away
the sins of the world;
not even the Earth is able to do it.
And what mercy could
the Earth have?
Like a host rises the moon
a blessing her beauty.

Leo

--------------León

El león, ojos de carnalina,
colmillos, garras de sardónice,
lleva en el pecho corazón de rubí
que guarda el fuego fijo del valor.
-----Anhela devorar al sol
-----y mudarlo en oro
que surgiera por sus venas
como río caliente de luz.

-------------------Leo

 The lion, carnelian eyes,
fangs, claws of sardonyx,
carries in his breast a ruby heart
that holds the steadfast fires of courage.
------It desires to devour the sun
------and turn it into gold
that would run in his veins
like a hot river of light.
