-------Fiestas patrias

 
Ha llegado el día 
en que todas fiestas patrias 
me repugnan 
y todas fronteras 
me aprietan demasiado. 
¿Qué es este orgullo de nación, 
estas banderas
-------sean águilas o estrellas? 
No importan los colores; 
sólo sirven para disfrazar 
canallas. 
Si no representan justicia y paz 
-------abajo con ellas.

The day has come
in which all patriotic holidays
disgust me
and all borders  
fit me too tightly.
What is this pride of nation,
these flags 
-------be they eagles or stars? 
It doesn't matter the colors; 
they only serve to disguise 
scoundrels. 
If they do not stand for Justice and peace,
---------down with them.
