        La luna es espejo


En el desierto de mi nacer
la luna esta noche está triste.
Podría ser feliz, 
los recuerdos lo atestiguan 
pero la luna es espejo,
el mundo pesa
y esta noche está triste la luna.

In the desert of my birth
the moon tonight is sad.
It could be happy, 
memories attest it,
but the moon is a mirror,
the world weighs 
and tonight the moon is sad.
