Poetry, Protests, Power and Peace.
"Poetry is, like bread, everyone's.”
Don’t miss hearing former Berkeley Poet Laureate
Rafael Jesús González
(pictured) who will speak at the Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists
Sunday morning March 8th
(International Women's Day), followed by an exhibit reception for photographer James Legarer whose photos of protest marches adorn the walls of the BFUU Hall. BFUU services begin at
10:30 am,
followed by lunch, then the 3/8 reception. Phoebe Thomas Sorgen is the featured musician/singer.
There will also be some sing alongs. Poetry! Music! Community! Food! What’s not to love?
