Full Moon of the Ox Year Tanka


Slowly treading on
the Milky Way, the full moon —
ox burdened with light.
The stars seem but so many
pebbles under its broad nose.

Lentamente caminando sobre
la Vía láctea, la luna plena —
buey cargado de luz.
Las estrellas parecen sólo tantas
guijas bajo su ancho hocico.
